Family of brave Freya Bevan ‘eternally grateful’ to charity which came to their aid when the NHS refused to fund her tumour treatment

The family of an inspirational two-year-old who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour have travelled across the border to meet the charity which came to their aid. Bubbly Freya Bevan, who was diagnosed with a Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumour (PNET) on the brain in April 2014, travelled to the United States to undergo pioneering proton beam therapy treatment.
