Power restored to Bristol cancer hospital after fire forced patients to evacuateĀ 

The Bristol cancer hospital damaged by a fire has finally had power restored and should be fully reopen sooner than expected, bosses have said. A spokesperson for University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the oncology centre and the BRI, said: “Thanks to all the hard work of our staff, we are making excellent progress on restoring services to the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre and are ahead of our original schedule to occupy the building.
